Here's what happened in October 2023.
Average sale prices have decreased in most markets and days on market are higher. There are a lot of homes on the market so buyers that are still in the market are taking their time to choose the best opportunities. Properly priced homes are still selling quickly so it's very important that you price your home appropriately.
The past two interest rate announcements saw rates hold steady and that is expected to continue as earlier rate hikes have started to show their effects.
